Lynette is a partner, principal consultant and manager with over twenty five years experience in IT services, and specialising in applications in healthcare. She has delivered projects for a number of NHS Regions, Health Authorities and Trusts, and for the NHS Executive.
Areas of work have included local implementation strategies for "Information for Health", other IM&T strategies, applications requirements, organisational analysis, feasibility and benefits realisation and process change. She has a thorough understanding of the vision and key developments to meet the NHS Plan and Modernisation Agenda with a particular interest in integrated primary, community and social care systems, and clinical communications. She has also given conference presentations on the information needs of primary healthcare teams, and on the actual benefits achieved from the national HA/ GP links project.
Previously, Lynette was Manager of IS Planning and Coordination at North West Thames Regional Health Authority, where she set up and managed a department providing consultancy and support to NHS organisations in the acute, community and mental health, commissioning and primary care sectors. She was also Head of Consulting for LBMS Plc., Technical Manager at Systems Designers (now part of EDS), and Operations Director for the Information Systems Division of SPL.
