ICI Systems
ICI Systems was the IT systems business of ICI Plc, the global British-based chemical company. Wilkins Consultancy provided interim sales and marketing management for the launch of the business in the non-ICI marketplace, managing a team based in Cheshire and Teesside, U.K., and Rozenburg, Netherlands.
This involved defining the target markets, service products and business positioning, designing and executing marketing programmes, and implementing professional commercial and sales processes
In addition, Wilkins Consultancy helped prepare ICI Systems for acquisition by Origin, then owned by Philips Electronics. By the time the acquisition was completed the first major contracts had been won in both the UK and Holland, and the prospect pipeline was valued at over £10 Million.
