
Wilkins Consultancy developed an IM&T strategy for all areas of the Trust including client care, finance, human resources, contracting, hotel services, estate management and office systems. This considered IT standards, staffing, data security, confidentiality, systems management and disaster planning. The strategy identified priorities and developed the implementation and delivery plan.
We also advised the Trust on opportunities for outsourcing the system development, roll-out and operational management of a major client care system, identified and evaluated potential private sector partner companies, provided support in PFI negotiations, and reviewed potential software marketing agreements.
We supplied the Technical Representative on the project board for a major project, run under PRINCE, to develop a client care system for use in hospitals, home and community settings. We provided strategic input to the action plans for development, piloting and implementation.
